The Key Lime, also known as the Mexican Lime, is a citrus fruit that is believed to have originated in the Florida Keys and the West Indies. It is known for its small size, round shape, green or yellow skin and juicy, tart, and flavourful pulp.

They are often referred to as the original lime and people tend to buy these for their apparent benefits to the body.

Key Limes' seasonality varies depending on where it is grown, but it is typically available from late spring to early autumn. These fruits will come ready to consume.. To store the fruit, it should be kept at room temperature until it is fully ripe, then can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Key Lime is commonly used in cooking and baking, it is well known for its use in making Key Lime Pie, it can also be used to make marinades, dressings, and cocktails such as Margarita. The zest and juice can be used in various recipes such as cakes, cookies, and ice cream.

Red Flesh Dragon Fruit

so good, i was worried it would taste like perfume as it smells floral! but it was super sweet and refreshing, my mum compared to to the taste of a tangerine x10 and i couldn’t agree more :).
